PRACTICES AND MEETS
For our Cruisers program (grades 3 - 8), we will practice 1-2 evenings during the week (approximately 5:45pm - 6:45pm) on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays (days based on coaches' availability) and some Sundays (approximately 12pm - 1pm) starting the week of March 10th through May 21st at Cinnaminson High School. Meets will take place on Saturday mornings (approximately 9am - 12pm) from April 6th to May 11th (6 regular meets) plus a championship meet on May 18th and Meet of Champions on May 21st for those that qualify; a couple of meets may take place on a Friday evening instead of a Saturday morning TBD. Meets will take place at various local tracks as determined by the Catholic League. Events include the 50m (based on age), 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 4x100m relay, long jump, and shot put (based on age). If you are interested in participating in field events only (long jump and/or shot put), we encourage you to join our Cruisers team. You do not need to participate in track events to be a member of the Cruisers team.
For our Junior Cruisers program (grades K - 2), practices will be every Sunday (approximately 12pm - 1pm) from March 10th through May 21st at the Cinnaminson High School track (1197 Riverton Road). Please note that times may vary slightly week to week based on coaches' availability. Meets will take place on Friday evenings (approximately 6:00pm - 7:15pm) from April through May (5 to 6 meets in total) at either the Cinnaminson High School track, Winslow High School track (10 Cooper Folly Road, Atco, NJ 08004), or another local track. Events include the 50m, 100m, long jump, and 4x100m relay.
REQUIREMENTS, FEES, AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Each Cruiser and Junior Cruiser will need to complete their registration on this website. The track registration fee is $50 per student. For new members of the team or those looking to purchase a new shirt for this year, there will be an additional $15 cost per shirt. Note that the team shirt is the same design as last year, so there is no need to purchase a new shirt for this year if you already have one. Each Cruiser and Junior Cruiser will need decent running shoes, black shorts, and the team shirt.
Each Cruiser and Junior Cruiser will need to have this medical form completed by your child's doctor prior to the first practice. This form is required once per school year for all sports programs.
Please complete the online registration by Saturday, March 9th so we can plan appropriate volunteers.
